Raising of Antibodies Does Not Equate to Immunity Series
One of ways vaccines are mass marketed is with the claim that the vaccines are "effective" in raising antibodies. This leaves the targeted audience thinking that this "effectiveness" is referring to and equates to immunity. Meanwhile, it is firmly established and known that the immune system is not built upon the very basic and primitive idea of antibodies alone comprising the immune response since biochemistry has moved on leaps and bounds from the days when such simplistic explanations were given (beyond 70 years ago). The immune system is extremely complex and is still not fully understood today.
